OH HELLOOOOOO! ITS MEEEEEEE!
I've been a lazy ass these days, which probably explains why i haven't been updating.
There's soo much that happened during the last 2-3 weeks and i dont know where to start.
Out Loud show was a bummer. We're not being appreciated again. Which is fine.
The band kinda got the hang of playing to a non-metal show, which i think is the wrong thing to do. We have been playing to the wrong set of crowds and we think it's about time we make the switch.
NO. ERIS IS NOT PLAYING HARDCORE. What i meant was, declining all "hardcore-fans-only" shows and try to make ourselves home with tha real metal bands in SG. So yeah, one event to look forward to is the end of year, Welcome to the Slaughterhouse Massacre 2, which we'll be sharing the stage with awesome head banging bands like helmskey, eulegy and nafrat!!! aaah, im sure they'll make ERIS seem like kids but what the heck, we're there! hahahaha! However, there's LOTS of work to be done. New songs needed. GOOD, new songs needed.

And then there's the trip to KL for the Cape Verda We Lost Beauty Fest show.
Travelled along with such great great friends. Met new ones frm SG as well as frm MY too.
Stuffed ourselves with ANW. Awesome awesome root beer floats.
I'll miss those crazy crazy times in the hotel room. Boys in their undies playing blind mice.
HAHAHAHA. shit. i miss you guys.

And the week after the KL trip, i start my first day working in Vivo City.
YES, IM NO LONGER WORKING IN PS. It's the same shop.. just different branch.
And the branch in vivo is like whoa. So huge = so messy = so much fucking work!
But surprisingly, it has been quite a breeze working there thou.
Sad to say i prefer the staffs frm PS. The ppl in vivo dont socialise as much.
But im lovin the branch solely because there are more food choices for lunch breaks. -_-' heh. skinny piggy.

And this past weekend, i went to gf irna's house for her sister's engagement.
i was thrilled!! why?
1. it's my first time to her place.
2. it's my first time meeting her family (and relatives)
3. it's my first time seeing gf in baju melayu
4. it's my first time being in an engagement ceremony.
it went well. i didnt create any disaster or anything (like i always do elsewhere). thank god. haha.
gf looked gorgeous in baju melayu. just too bad the next time i'll see her in it will be in.. 3 months time? nyehhhh.
I love her relatives. They're all funny people. Very nice to talk to especially this particular wak, which i cant remember his name. hahaha.
And honey, dont be pressurised! Im the one who should be!
Cause to think of it.. its like daaaymn i got 6 to 7 to 8 years to save 10k? whatthefish!
I gotta move my ass now and quick. Climb the corporate ladder, earn big bucks, travel, and shit like that just to.. you know.. ehem one fine day. AHAA.
but for now, i guess im talking too much for a dreamy 19yr old. so i'll shut up on that matter.
and honey, them bugging you for you're next in line, hahaha, i dont know what to say.. i dont know what you think of it either. but i guess it's pretty weird for now, but im sure it wont be in the years to come? XD heh.

ERIS.. We're not at our best right now. But dont let it dampen our hopes and weaken all that we have worked so hard for. We shall strive to our bones if we have to. There is no band that suffered no hardships. So yeah. We gotta improve by SHM2 and recordings.

Irna and i went to the zoo yesterday.
That's one weekend which i dont step on the city floors (thou we eventually did later on).
It was a wonderful getaway which i totally enjoyed, and knowing i spent awesome quality time with my gf, makes it seem a whole lot better. :]
Oh, i love my girlfriend.

we were much fascinated by the baboons. i always have. and i have always imagined if how this was reversed, us humans behind the glass wall and them animals staring at us. that wouldnt be the best thing in the world. i wonder how they feel. but anyway, we spent a good 30mins atleast observing the baboons. heh. fast game. ;]



some of these animals really taught me something. some of them may be behind cages and glasses, but i felt that they are potraying us somehow. potraying life thru family, depression thru loneliness, and the strive to live thru unconditional habitats. how real.
